Redevelopment of 62 Webster Street
Built in the 1890’s and originally home to a masonic lodge, 62 Webster Street is a historically significant fixture in downtown North Tonawanda. Home to many businesses throughout the years, the property became vacant and fell into disrepair in the mid-2000’s.
Lumber City Development, partnering with Empire State Development and National Grid, was able to incentivize the redevelopment of the building. The building was listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places and redeveloped into retail and commercial space. In 2015, Canal Club 62 opened as the anchor tenant in the building and brought another great dining experience to Webster Street.
