The Chamber of Commerece of the Tonawandas is a membership organization that provides a strong source of services, support, and networking for business and industry in the Tonawandas. The Chamber of Commerece is proactive in creating a positive business environment while promoting local business and economic development to enhance overall quality of life.
Niagara County Center for Economic Development
The mission of the Niagara County Center for Economic Development is to create and retain jobs, generate economic opportunities, attract new companies and grow existing businesses, attract private investment, expand the tax base, assist economically distressed areas, promote sustainable development, and improve the overall quality of life for Niagara County residents.
Niagara Worksource One
Niagara’s WorkSourceOne is the largest Employment & Training initiative in Niagara County. At the two One-Stop Career Center locations, Niagara’s WorkSourceOne harnesses the resources of various organizations in Niagara County to provide a seamless array of services to both local businesses and to job seekers who are unemployed, under-employed, or “dislocated” due to business closure or significant lay-off of the workforce.
Niagara Orleans Regional Land Bank
The Niagara Orleans Regional Land Improvement Corporation (NORLIC) is a municipal partnership that works with communities to acquire vacant and abandoned properties. NORLIC’s efforts will return abandoned properties to productive use, creating a better community for future generations.
