Microenterprise Grant Program
Through New York State's Office of Homes and Community Renewal and federally funded Community Development Block Grants, we are able to offer reimbursement grants up to $35,000 for businesses with five (5) or fewer employees. This program provides resources to support and foster the development of microbusinesses by providing grants in conjunction with capacity building and entrepreneurial assistance.
Low Interest Financing
Lumber City Development Corporation offers low-interest financing for eligible business in North Tonawanda including, but not limited to: financing for fixed assets, inventory, and working capital. Loan applications are available online, but applicants should first discuss their business and financing needs with LCDC representatives prior to completing an application.
Local Incentives
North Tonawanda and Niagara County are ready and willing to invest in business by offering local incentives geared to help your business grow and succeed, such as:
- Real property tax abatements for commercial real estate development
- Payment-in-lieu-of-taxes programs for commercial and industrial development
- Brownfield clean-up revolving loan funding
- Empower Niagara energy incentives
